Knee-jerk centrism is deaf, dumb and blind; anyone who claims ‘both sides do the same thing’ is willfully ignorant or lying.
That was exactly my reaction to this. This kind of claim always seems very doubtful to me when it’s coming from Democrats or Republicans.
